The Bureau stated that Her Majesty had been under continuous medical supervision since 2019 to monitor various bodily systems. Earlier this month, she fell ill but, despite the best efforts of her medical team, her condition gradually deteriorated.

Following her passing, His Majesty the King issued a Royal Command for the Royal Funeral to be arranged with the highest honors. Her Majesty’s Royal Body will lie in state at the Dusit Maha Prasat Throne Hall in the Grand Palace, where ceremonial rites will be conducted according to Royal tradition.

Members of the Royal Family and royal servants will observe one year of mourning from the date of her passing.

Her Majesty Queen Sirikit was revered as the Mother of the Nation, admired for her lifelong devotion to the Thai people and her tireless efforts to promote culture, education, and social welfare. Her compassion, elegance, and unwavering dedication earned her deep respect both in Thailand and abroad.

On behalf of the entire ZOSMA News and ZOSMA Productions team, we extend our deepest condolences to His Majesty the King, the Royal Family, and the people of Thailand during this period of national mourning.
