Yamato recognized for championing sustainable growth in Thailand’s finance sector
Krungsri President and CEO Kenichi Yamato has been awarded the 2024 CEO of the Year in Sustainable Finance by the Bangkok Post.
The award ceremony, now in its third year, was held at Centara Grand at Central World, where Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence Phumtham Wechayachai presented the honor.
This accolade acknowledges CEOs who demonstrate visionary leadership and exemplary management in their fields. Mr. Yamato has been recognized for advancing Krungsri’s mission as “The Leading Sustainable and Regional Bank.”
With the backing of MUFG, he has driven the bank’s sustainable finance initiatives, helping clients access eco-friendly financial products and services while contributing to Thailand’s economic progress and social well-being.
